Dr. James Joseph Hale, M.D. is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons whose experiences include working as stadium staff physician for The New York Mets, and most recently, as stadium staff physician for sporting events at Madison Square Garden (including the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, college basketball, professional wrestling, boxing, tennis, etc.), concerts and other performances. He provides patients with cutting-edge care in a range of orthopedic services, with a specialization in spinal cord injury treatment and rehabilitation.

Since joining Eastern Orthopedic Associates in 2007, Dr. Hale has become a dynamic member of the community and the medical staff of several New Jersey community hospitals, including Chief of Spine Interventional Radiology at Holy Name Medical Center and Attending Physician, Spine Surgery, Department of Orthopaedics at Hackensack University Medical Center.

As a member of the North American Spine Society and the Butterfly Foundation (Spine Deformity Volunteer Work, Dominican Republic) as well as a founding member of the Society of Lateral Access Surgeons, Dr. Hale is dedicated to improving the quality of life for each of his patients with a benevolent and personalized approach.
